Hi, my name is Matt D’Netto and welcome to the Triple Threat Tourwebsite, your source of information for the insanely ambitious and recently completed fundraising challenge in aid of the MS Society. My older brother Chris was diagnosed with MS in 1999, and this challenge was my way of contributing to the MS Society who have helped both Chris and my family deal with his condition ever since.
The Triple Threat Tour was a solo challenge comprising three events, each as deadly as the last, which took place over the course of one action-packed, injury-ravaged week. The events being...
1) Running theFlora London Marathon(April 26th 2009)
2) Cycling from Land’s End - John O’Groats (April 27th – May 1st 2009)
3) Completing theThree Peaks Challenge(May 2nd)
There was certainly a lot of action during the week, so please take a few moments to check out the videos below which document how I got on during the Triple Threat Tour:

Part 2
I would like to say a few huge thank yous to the kind people who helped me complete the tour. First of all I am indebted to my support team - my Dad Euan D'Netto, and my good buddy Tom Ward-Davies. I'd also like to thank the people who provided treatments along the way - Tim Hill and Heather O'Shea from the Jonathan Webb Clinic, Bill Dove from Metrostress and Trevor Chisman from Woodland Herbs. Thank you all - I couldn't have done it without you guys!
Check out my training blog to see how I got on during the challenge - there are also lots of photos on my facebook page.
The purpose of the tour was not just to raise funds for the MS Society, but also to raise the profile of MS amongst the general public. The disease affects around 100,000 individuals here in the UK, yet most people know nothing about it! So be sure to explore the website and find out more.
The MS Society supports those affected by the disease and provides funding for research projects aimed at understanding MS and developing new treatments, making it a truly worthy cause.
There’s still a long way to go to my £10,000 target, so please sponsor me by visiting my justgiving site. Every penny donated will go directly to the MS Society and will make a huge difference to the individuals and families affected by MS in the UK. Also, don’t forget to tick the Gift Aid box, adding 25% to your donation at no extra cost to you!
